The great thing about stories is that they can be fictional or non-fictional. I have a very imaginative four-year-old who can tell some of the best stories about things that I couldn't even dream up even if I tried. As we were playing on my iPad one day, she opened up the Art Maker app and started making some pictures. As she was constructing her pictures, she was talking about what each item she place on her background was doing, what it was saying, and how it fit in with the other items on the screen. She crafted some very busy, but imaginative pictures that told the story that she visualized in her mind. Unfortunately, she had cleared the screen on several of her pictures before I could capture them, but this is one that she had made about Old McDonald's farm. I was sitting next to her as she was making it and had I been a little quicker with things, I would have recorded the audio of her story but I did not want to interrupt what she was doing. Below is a picture of her story, and I will leave the rest to your imagination for your own story. :)
